The same customer service as in a tax form

Kevin Maney has an article in Newsweek about the biggest flaw he sees in the healthcare.gov website. The problem is that it is brought to you by the same people who designed the income tax forms. Put another way, government at any level is not good at customer service. The solution Maney proposes is to allow private companies design and run the health insurance exchanges.

While Maney might have correctly identified the problem I'm not convinced of his solution. Do lots of people complain about using Medicare? Let's aim for expanding Mediecare for all.
