Crystal Proxmire of Equality Michigan had a brief exchange with Gov. Rick Snyder of Michigan. She asked if, from the business standpoint, he might explore promoting equality of LGBT people in Michigan. He said that if the legislature passed it, he thinks it's a fine idea.
Now to get the legislature to do that.
Did you know there is an Ex-Gay Pride Month? Organizers pushed for a big demonstration at the Supreme Court a couple days ago. They claim ex-gays don't get any respect. They predicted a turnout of "thousands." Total attendance: I counted 11 in the photo. Others have wondered, aren't ex-gays just straight? And straight people don't seem to lack for respect.
